Mercedes GLA Teaser Released Ahead of Detroit Reveal
One of the biggest automobile events in the country is about to be underway. The North American International Auto Show takes place in Detroit, Michigan and is always a big event for global manufacturers looking to stir up excitement and anticipation for their upcoming goods. As a result, a lot of automakers are dropping teasers for new vehicles ahead of their reveal in Detroit. The Mercedes GLA teaser is one of them, and it caused quite a bit of buzz among enthusiasts looking to see what Mercedes has in store.
While the Mercedes-Benz GLA is not entering a new generation and getting a complete ground-up redesign, the 2018 model year will, reportedly, be getting a huge mid-cycle refresh. Due to the dimly-lit nature of the teaser, fans of Mercedes-Benz can only get a glimpse of the few tweaks designers made to the GLA’s appearance, but further changes are yet to be revealed. Even still, as the Mercedes-Benz GLA just came out in 2015, experts aren’t expecting big mechanical changes under the hood.
Some predictions for the interior include a larger touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink compatibility, as well as the possibility of a refresh to the look and feel of the cabin. There’s also a possibility the current engine, though remaining the same, will get a power bump. All we have right now is the Mercedes GLA teaser, so we’ll have to wait and see.
